An easy day around the house, so just this 5 inch Gerber PK-3 Handyman (1974-1981) in 440C (though I do like their 420HC in my Gator, E-Z Out and LST). The locking screwdriver/wire stripper blade may not see much work.

That's a whole lot of handy, man! Very nice, Stuart.:thumbsup::cool:

The wife asked me to make a couple simple templates for her out of cardboard. Her scissors were tossed to the side approximately 0.5 seconds into the task. Split the box in half with OK/T Warthog and did the detail cut with the pruner blade of my Rancher.

Now, I've got to see what will assist me with the grill this evening. :D
Nice to put some "good will" in the bank by showing the family how useful your knives are, Shawn!:thumbsup:;)

The pension situation sounds less than ideal, donn, but congrats on finding your survival knife!:thumbsup: That doesn't have a flashlight in the handle, does it??:)

Thanks, Gary!

Cowering fruit, a frightening image! :D:)
My "knife life" can be pretty scary, Dean!:D

That is not a nail nick, it's a blood groove! :D
Thanks for the sharpening support, Jack & FBC. I'm still more surprised when I have sharpening success than when I don't, but I hope that my expectations will shift the other direction soon. ;) Cool Alox Minichamp!!:cool::thumbsup:

I was actually amazed that I could still buy that same watchband. I bought the first one at an local outdoors shop in Arkansas back in college. I had to order this one online directly from the company that makes them in Canada (the shipping cost more than the watchband), but I just couldn't believe they still made the exact same one. (Normally, my luck dictates that if I find a product that I really like, it will soon be discontinued.) :D

I had this WLST with me today.

Looks like we share the same paranoia, Barrett! You're adapting quickly to your new state with the field notes book! :)

Going on a business trip, taking my precious with me.

That pair looks capable of handling whatever business/busyness you assign to them.:thumbsup::cool:

I'm carrying two kindred spirits from Case's 1940-1964 era, a pattern 35 jack and a pattern 65 SAB hunter. The jack is as clean as the day it was born, the brass liners shine. The old hunter, well, it looks like it has hunted its whole life. As you can see, the scales are chipped/cracked and the pile side can slip (I left it askew until after I snapped the pic, then "clicked" it back in place). I used it to field dress a deer this past season, but that will be its last deer for me. Still like having it in the pocket, though.

Can you say a bit more about the knife on the left. It's got great lines IMHO. Thank you. MJ.

It is a #77 two bladed jack with ebony scales, and with an end cap; made by great eastern cutlery. Clip main and pen secondary for the blades. It also has nice walk and talk.
