I haven't been this excited for a knife arrival as much as I have with this one in sometime:eek::cool: I had a Fiddleback Forge Bushboot that I carried for about two yrs in a back pocket sheath. Loved the knife and regret selling it, the back pocket carry system was more work than I cared for. Then the urge to replace the Bushboot finally became to much to bare:)

Ordered this one last week along with the Diomedes pocket carry sheath...LOVE IT!!! simply put, can't be much happier than I am right now:thumbsup: arrived in this mornings mail and carried from the point I broke it free of it's cardboard box shackles:p

Enjoy it Paul. I don't get to carry fixed blades where I am but there really isn't anything more convenient than that setup. Plus it looks great! They should last several lifetimes.

Thanks Stuart :) Our heatwave continues here, but I bumped into a guy from Phoenix who was enjoying the cooler weather :D

Looks good Joshua, and nicely paired there

There aren't many other knives I enjoy seeing more than this one GT :)

Excellent post and pic John :) $5 an hour?! My first job in 1977 paid £18 a week (40 hours)! :D

Cool pic Ken

Nice set-up Paul

Got these two with me today

Bush Baby Meerkat

That's a handsome handy blade.

Ordered this one last week along with the Diomedes pocket carry sheath...LOVE IT!!!

And another handsome handy blade.

Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Pretty pair, Ron.

Morning folks

It's great seeing Piggy again, from any angle.

Is that fixed blade a Dawson?

It is a Daniel L. Cannady small game knife with maple burl handle and a 2 ¾” ATS-34 skinner blade (6” OAL). Unfortunately, Mr. Cannady, of Allendale, S,C,, died on May 5, 2016. Great pocket knife that works well cutting paracord or cleaning doves and rabbits.

Outstanding choice, Paul !!! She's a stunner and those pants...wow !!

Mmm bacon.

For the past 2 days Ive been carrying an old, well used Camillus TL29 electricians knife. Ive been using it for working, doing some carpet cleaning jobs. Today, I have'nt decided yet...
It can be hard to leave a TL-29 behind.

Just home from a cardiac stress test. Not so much because of symptoms I’ m having, but Doc and I thought it would be a good idea due to some heart issues in my family. Better to know than not know. NOT spending my 2018 forum knife money on it, though. I have my priorities in line.
Wedding this afternoon, outdoors and around 100 f. I may trade this beefy boy for a slimline trapper.
