I've put away the Boer War knife. Now if it had busts of Charlize Theron instead of Kruger and De Wet...
It's hard to keep away from this one, especially in this weather.

I'm a little embarrassed to complain about the heat here now that I know that Meako routinely endures temperatures barely below boiling point.

Yesterday, I commented on many fine knives y'all posted recently , but I forgot to post pics of any of the knives I'm carrying this week. So I'll do that now (and maybe again later today if I get a break from the "project" my wife has set for me on this fine holiday ).
Stockman of the Week is a Chinese Schrade 89OT Blazer that I got last Christmas; "scalloped" sheepsfoot and came with a deck of cards!

Canoe of the Week is a Remington with burl covers that always intrigue me:

International Knife of the Week is a higonokami (thanks, Dan). Includes a little sheath/grip I made that's kinda ugly but works well.

All the flags reminded me of this one.

I finally found the meaning of "unundadages" on Utica's seal some time ago. I'm pretty sure it was the Indian name of the intersection of five trails at which Utica was built. (I assume Mohawk Indian, since Utica is on the Mohawk River.)
