What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one rode on my belt all weekend, it's turning into a routine.

Beautiful lake. It looks so peaceful.

It was peaceful....until all the speed boats, jet skis and wake boarders showed up:cool: It’s a bigger lake that has plenty of area for all but for some reason all the toy owners want to be in the smaller fingers where I like to fish. It started off slow but I picked up a couple of rainbows just a touch shy of 14 inches right before I left. In all, caught 10, kept 5o_O

Toting a Rough Rider 1386 that just came in. All my knives are North American but I wanted to try this as a "beater" for processing squirrels this fall, put away between seasons. Dang knife won't leave my watch pocket !!! No blade play, and love the half-stops.

I'm certainly not experienced enough to help you out with an ID, Stuart, but I admire your daily detective work, and this particular example is sure a lot of nice knife, whatever it is! ;):cool::thumbsup:

My stockman for the past week (and also for the next two weeks on vacation away from home) is this Case CV chestnut jigged bone sowbelly (thanks, Ron):

Thanks, GT. Everyday is an adventure, but no solid ID for that particular knife (I do like it). That Case sowbelly is meaty. Love it!

Just got this one, riding in the watch pocket now;

I can see why, Gary. Beautiful knife.

I see no problem with that routine, and that knife seems used to it. That's a keeper, Rob.

Good on you for the effort and the conservation ethic.

Thanks for the details on your garden and your gardening principles, Jeff! I grew up on a dairy farm and we did crop rotation, but I never even considered that it would be good gardening practice, too. :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Some real nice carries there, especially that colonial.

Paul, son, that is one gorgeous old Robey! I am very, very envious right now. :(

Whew- been awaiting to see that one Paul - worth the wait brother!
Like Jeff said- VERY envious right now my friend.
Jeff and Duncan, Thank you:thumbsup: I LOVE a vintage knife and am in awe of how it survived this long without meeting the grinder:eek: just happy to own it. I'll post in the vintage thread, I just want to post some fellow Robeson's with it:thumbsup:
