I love the blue patina on that one! :cool::thumbsup:

I’ve got a Böker barlow today.

That green group with "The Greek's" work is one of my favorite pairings from you, Joshua! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

As always, GT, you're very gracious!
Thanks, Jeff. :) Any graciousness I exhibit is just reflecting the grace I've received here! :thumbsup:

...This time of year, I spend most every Sunday glued to the TV. I'm not ashamed :)

That is both a unique and beautiful knife.
Thanks for the mini trapper comment, John. :) I don't know what happened to my fervor for football. 25 years ago, I'd often watch 2 college and 2 pro games each weekend. Last season, I watched most of the Super Bowl and almost no other games. :confused:

Missing my buddy Bob today, at times we couldn't text fast enough with updates of plays and players. Will text Lan throughout the game. Miss ya Bob!!!

Three primo pieces of cutlery today!
Thanks, Jeff. :)

...
That Rosewood Lambsfoot is a beauty !
Thanks, Steve, it's my favorite lambsfoot so far. :)

...
Thanks, GT. I like both of those Cases, but the mini trapper caught my eye today. Good choices on all three, really.

I appreciate your comments, Stuart! :)

... I went to the pearl pile and picked this Queen model 6 senator pen. Even at 2 1/2", it casts a comforting reflection on a dark day.

Totally classy, Stuart! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: (For some reason, this made me think of Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, or Pearls Before Swine. Thought-provoking book for me 40 years ago, but I haven't read it recently.)

... Good choices for your dual-choice knives! :thumbsup:
Thanks, Dean. :)

Sunday knife. ...
The Böker Barlows with that bolster stamp always trigger yearning in me! :rolleyes:

Classic!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Pretty much one of these five is in my pocket these days. ...

Quality quintet, Frank! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: The half hawk is a great knife, I think, but seems the odd knife out in the photo. :confused:

It's a little worn, but my "office EDC" is a Rough Rider Mini Canoe. ...
Welcome to The Porch, @duderino ! :):thumbsup::thumbsup: I like canoes, but have only one of the RR mini canoes. I like it a lot, and ought to pick up some others. ;)

Bold bake today.
Beautiful "crust" on that handsome knife! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Had these 2 today with me at work. Got home in time to take a pic before the sun went down.
That Schrade pen you've been showing lately is making me tipsy, Nick! :rolleyes::cool::cool::thumbsup:

Going to have to be this one today....
If the week's as good as the knife it'll be amazing :D

Glorious gunstock, Will! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Morning folks, starting the week off with these two :) :thumbsup:

Splendid stag and sawcut to handle Monday, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Mr. GT. No, I am not offended in any way, and would like to continue to receive your opinions for my knives.:):thumbsup::thumbsup:

My needle is stuck. (For you youngsters out there, my metaphor is drawn from phonographs.)
Anyway, same old:

This one-blade Barlow is a delight, and I'm really liking the trapper since I took a file to its handles....
I like both of those, especially the spey blade on the trapper (even though I didn't comment on them yesterday)! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Score!! I was able to pick up the following:
Gabon Ebony
Autumn Gold Bone
Cocobolo
Green Micarta
Sambar Stag (Factory Second)

Now, what to carry? Since it’s Monday, I’ll go with Micarta.

I’ll try to get a family shot when I can.

Nice way to start the week!!!
I guess they had gunstocks in stock!! :eek::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

A not very imaginative pic of two gunstocks with shell casings. Still, I like it.

Works for me, Alan!! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I put these two in my pockets, and for some reason I want tea instead of coffee this morning. o_O;)

Monday's knife is red.

Red and refined, Dean! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Rained in on this mostly mundane Monday, so why not tote a simple Belknap Hardware Co. barlow.

@Pt-Luso & @btb01, those are a couple of sublime pen knives!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Seem to be a bit hung up on these.
Almost everyone who has a Churchill seems quite taken with it, Ken! :):cool::thumbsup:

Gary, I must confess I haven't read it yet but it's on my ever-growing list;)!
I know what you mean about the to-read list! :eek:;)

Awesome jigging on that Queen City, Dwight! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup: Full size trapper?

Always a pleasure to see the lovely horn on that Joker, GT!

Thanks, Dylan. :) You and Jack are fashionable fellows today! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Will do, and thanks GT! Nice pic of the Camillus, and I always admire the Joker :thumbsup:

Yes and no, it was a gift in 2017 that I forgot about and just "found" this weekend :). Nice trio sir :) :thumbsup:
Thanks for the info and compliments, Tom. :):cool:

I can see why! It's also creme de la creme with that spearpoint patina and the checkered covers! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Couple of Colt knives this week. Miscellaneous Knife is a Colt Buckshot bone teardrop

I looked back through my pictures, but I couldn't find one that jogged my memory for "the Greeks" with that pair of knives. Which one is it?

By the way, that buckshot jigging is pretty sweet, and I don't think I've seen it before.

Thanks, GT. I have so much wanted to find a spot to include "pearls before swine" in a post with my MOP carries, but couldn't find one that wouldn't offend half, if not all, of the Porch. Maybe one day.

Simple but satisfying, Stuart! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, again, GT. I like 'em that way. Your Colts were captivating, but I was in the rainy day mood for a blue Monday Case. Thanks.

I'm really likin this modded barehead red bone #15:thumbsup:

That looks so much like red licorice that I may have to walk to the store in the rain. Sweet knife.

What's your problem? Are my pictures not posting?

I was talking about the " memtiment " typo where it appears you intended " mention ".
When using that feature where you can select a completed word to be filled in, my phone will jumble in what I've already got typed with a partial completion of the word I selected.

This results in things like memtement instead of mention, and " slipjslip" "slipslip" instead of slipjoint.
My phone only does it on Bf's and no other forum, otherwise I'd get a new phone.

Anyways yes I did see your picture and it's a beautiful knife.

Yeah it does that all the time!!! I need to double check my posts....:confused:

It happens to me way way to often, though I've gotten better at dealing with it.
I've found that I'm better off just typing things out, otherwise all the errors cost more time in the long run.

That is a very nice looking Gunstock my friend . The shape , jigging , and color are IMHO the best that I have seen in a long while .

Harry

Very nice of you to say so Harry, appreciate it:thumbsup:
I was very fortunate to get it recently on the Exchange, and have a spare in store too-perfect situation! I'm going to use it and I'm surprised how 'right' it is, small knives can be very tricky,they often don't have convincing proportions and can be just souvenir type things. This one not, strong snap and no gaps add to the enjoyment. I could become a One Knife Bore if I'm not careful...:eek: Er, don't think so, there are just too many attractive Traditionals of all types;):D
