What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sorry to have missed the last 2 days . We were in the Yellowstone Lake Hotel and they only have WI-FI in their sitting area and I don't do that . I have been carrying these 2 .

Fireplace in the Yellowstone Lodge

Fireplace inside the Yellowstone Inn ( the big old wooden hotel )

Sapphire Pool

Color around a geyser area

Dragon's Cavern ( the hole in the rock is probably 15 feet high .

There is a picture every time you turn around .

Right now we are in Sheridan , Wyoming and on our way to Mount Rushmore . More pictures to come of the TETONS and etc .
Thank you very much for putting up with my pictures .

Harry, thank you so much for the continued great photos my friend! Your carry choices are top notch as well! I can see you now, strutting around Yellowstone like a big ole fighting rooster with those two beautiful Stag Northfields in your pocket! :D I had a friend tell me once that there’s nothing quite like the feeling a man gets when he’s got a good Stag knife in his pocket! ;)

 :D

Today I’m Totin a single knife for a change. It’s my cull 35 Churchill Sambar Stag! Hope everyone has a great Saturday! :)

@Duckdog Nice Case soddie! I’ve always liked that knife and came close to getting one a couple times. 76 is my birth year too. I just love stag shadow knives in general and have had a pattern in mind for a long while now but can’t find any non-custom made ones. Maybe it’s time for a new custom knife for me...

Halfway to York I found a stowaway in my pocket!

I've have a couple of those Joshua - about the same price as a Vic here - including one in VG10. Found them pretty good

I like the handle shape and blade profile on the Boker better than the SAK. Plus the handle is G10, which is preferable to me as well. It is about the same price here as well.

This has been the carry and key ring combo for the last couple days. I leave it in the car to go in a few places - concert last night, friends want to go to a club tonight, hockey game Monday. My path of no resistance is to not stand out to venue security.

They were hardware wholesalers ( 1890-1920 ). They had facilities in both St. Joseph and Kansas City. Most think that they had their knives made by Tidioute Cutlery (PA). I love the old hardware stores. Yes, it's celluloid

Your sporting a fine pair today...wow !!!

Thanks, Gev, for the compliment and the information.

My favorite matched pair. Both in jigged chestnut bone scales, the Swayback Jack and the Sodbuster Jr. The Sodbuster took so well to the thinner scales it became an immediate favorite. As for the SBJ, how can you say anything bad about Tony Bose’s vision for Case. The SBJ shows all the attention to detail that Tony is known for. I love the sunken joints, feels great when I worry it between my fingers.

These two find themselves in my pocket quite often. I need to make a companion pocket sheath for the two knives and a my Fisher Space Pen.
