Thanks Jeff! I’ve always been a little reluctant to post pics of my guitar, since many of you have such amazing instruments. I currently have two Squier Strats. They meet my needs, but some serious players frown upon them.Speaking of great combos, a Stratocaster and a big Craftsman stockman!![]()
LOL! No, I like you guys! I wouldn’t put you through that. I just play for my own enjoyment, and relaxation.Lance, you’re not going to play us a tune and upload the video???
Thank you Stuart. That thread was a great rabbit hole to go down into. It led to other threads. I’ve been on a mad tear for pruners lately. I also like oddity’s, and Brass fits that niche, nicely.
They’re all gorgeous. That bottom one has so much character(and Guano).I'm a plum phool for pruners, or partially so:

Metallic Monday? Why not? A Geo. Wostenholm pruner in brass and a brassy metallic celluloid (?) Imperial single blade pen (with ball bearing opening lock) that dates around 1939-1942 (according to the patent numbers).

Mardi gras has become a child's day, though they don't disguise as much as when I was a kid, nevertheless today there will be pancakes everywhere for dinner with dry cider (Breton or Normand depending)!Today is Carnival (or Mardi Gras)!I'm a big history buff and love historic movies, so I'm going as a cross between something out of A Bridge Too Far and Wild Geese.

Hopefully I'll see some traditional Slovenian masks from our mythology as well, some of which you can come across in Cleaveland today as well.

Carnival North and South, imho the best fun and most popular being Dunkirk.

Since the beginning of the new century some try to revive the Carnival in Paris, forgotten since before the end of WWII, with masked balls and the Bœuf Gras where an Ox leads the parade (they've kept tradition and name in New Orleans, it existed also with that name in Mobile /Alabama, it also inspired the Rio carnival).Looks great! Interesting you mention pancakes, here we eat jelly donuts instead and although the holiday is big with children, adults have a great time as well, especially us university students ... I really like the traditional masks, which usually make as much noise as possible with bells and whips to scare away the winter. Some plow the snow (although there wasn't any for the past several years) to make the fields fertile and so on.

Angry bird?Friction folder, no clip. This must be a modern traditional.
