These as I went to check out a new antique mall. Pics of my finds upcoming in the newest knife thread;)

kai76 kai76 No problem! The cool thing is that antique mall lets booths out to venders, and several have cases with traditional knives in various conditions. There are some Schrade fixed blades I'm hoping are still there next weekend. One of them will be coming home with me for sure;)

If that awesome TC is as sharp as your plane, it is a thing to be respected.

Hmm, well I cant say which is sharper. However after cutting a wire tie with the TC I did have to sharpen it so it's been sharpened well at 3000 grit and then strop. As for the no. 65, it is one of my sharpest planes and I often use it as my chamfer plane, as I have with this wall shelf project.

Cheers, friend, I believe you are an NC native as well?

Beautiful photo, Dwight, and a stunning knife.
Thanks Vince. Good ole José.

Wow!:thumbsup: Love it, Dwight! ....now just 1 more on the "gotta have " list!
Thanks Dennis! You need to get one and come on over to the Navajas! :) I'll keep the fire going for ya.

Going for a muddy hike this afternoon with these two.
I love that pair.

And yes, I did indeed reserve a #12 green tiddy toothpick!
Beautiful. Me too. :D

Winter finally feels like it’s over today.

...Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, make you wanna move your dancing feet...
Good grief! That is a gorgeous curvy fossil! Wow.

In the yard working with the 72 in pocket. Found this guy under a pile of leaves. He was down for a photo op before being safely transferred to a new home.
