Beautiful photos guys :)

Lovely pair of knives there :)

I had to stop baking. It was making my wife and me fat. But your bread pictures always look sooo good.

I know what you mean Jeff, I got into baking for a couple of years (mainly cakes and pastries rather than bread), I have never put on weight so fast in my life! :D  Gorgeous-looking bread Dave @Dschal :)

For Wednesday:

Rosewood for Wednesday is going to graciously share the limelight with some home dyed delrin, because nobody really does a dedicated delrin day. Poor lowly delrin.View attachment 1107778View attachment 1107779 And since it’s wood Wednesday, here’s a pic of some cherry I picked out of my stack that is going to become an amplifier cabinet.

Im at the crew change spot (st. francisville ferry in Louisiana) and this sight seeing vessel is taking up the boat ramp. My boat and barges are supposed to land up river and then wiggle the skiff in between the port stern and the trees to pick us up (not much room) apologies no time for pic of knife 20190410_092211-3024x2268.jpg

Just about one hour EDT to the slide into the weekend! At least that's my logic.
I am retired but I still look forward to the weekend. The stock market is closed. Don't ask.
I should carry this one more often. Case-Bose 2013 collaboration. Doesn't get much better as far as workmanship.

How far north do you travel on the river?

Thought that was a French laguiole at first. Beautiful!
Thanks. Yes, it does have that look at that angle.
Today will be my second day carrying it and I'm impressed. The #38 is great in hand and has nice lines. The bocote wood is becoming a favorite, too.
I checked my temp last night and it's official. Looks like I've got the GEC fever!
:p

That's an awesome pairing you have yourself, Jack. Pearl is looking good!

Thanks a lot Vince, just managed to find time for another Pearl post ;) :)

Thanks Jack! A great pair for you today as well my friend! :)

Thanks a lot Ron

Wooden't you know it, I'm sticking with this sticker today, though this is a different patch of flowers than on Monday. In fact, flowers are popping up all over.

its all contracts, this boat has been on a baton rouge to Greenville Mississippi run. One of our sister boats is contracted to Valero and is running from Memphis to Louisville (id like to be on that one). Good day.PhotoPictureResizer_190410_115747931-2268x3024.jpg

Long story longer you can go alot of places with two barges. Still alot of knowledge to attain
