Very much agreed--I don't care much for most of GECs jigging. I've got ten or so and almost all are wood, and one stag I recently got. I really wish they'd do more like that SFO you posted.

I tend to oppose using a knife for anything other than cutting, but a spey blade makes a half decent light-duty flat head screwdriver in a pinch.
