GEC #66 Serpentine Jack and Friedrich Hartkopf with ebony scales

Today at work, I've got a pair. GEC Tidioute toothpick in purple bone and 1095 for small stuff, and Queen locking Mountain Man in amber carved stag-bone (ACSB) and D2 for the bigger jobs (and for making my sandwich... :D ).
Between the two of them, there's not much they can't handle.

Andi, that Friedrich Hartkopf is really nice, I really like it! Any idea what the steel is on it?

Thank you, it has a nice handleshape. The tools are nice, too. Though I don´t need the corcskrew.

Well, the steel is stainless. At the HP it´s called, that they use 4034 or 4110. I might ask at Hartkopf, which steel is used for the knife. I just sharpened the knife today, and it gets a razorsharp edge.

Kind regards
Andi

Dug out my Bose/Case out of my knife box and took it for a spin today. Well.... that was until my new GEC Bullnose showed up.

The Utica cleaned up nicely, Pete. I love that bone!

Yours reminds me to slip this old Camillus in my pocket today.
