In my humble opinion, I believe that the bloodwood 48s and bloodwood 85s with the corset shield are the prettiest knives to ever leave the GEC line. That's not a knock against the plethora of other beautiful knives they made, but there's something about what they did with bloodwood on those two patterns.

Thanks! I know I’ve stated before that this 48 is the prettiest knife I own, by a large margin. I’ve been converted into a Bloodwood fan by this one alone. GEC finished the covers exceptionally well, almost to the point that my others seem a bit lackluster. Now I’ll be searching out one of those 85’s.
