What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

They remind me of a Peanut but in a much more usable size.
A no-frills every day knife, small enough to forget about, yet big enough to cut a sandwich in half. :)
That Case medium jack looks good, John, and you're doing a fine sales job; what's your commission if I order one??:thumbsup:;)

5K Qs 5K Qs nice carries Gary !
Much appreciated, Steve. :)

5K Qs 5K Qs - Thank you for the kind words, GT. There’s never a false note with your meticulous choices of knives, Maestro.:) I was especially fond of the RR 1/2 Hawk, the Marbles Handyman’s Helper, and your elegant Leg Knife.
I'm grateful for your encouragement, Harvey. :) I especially appreciate your positive feedback on the leg knife; that pattern seems to not get much love on The Porch. :(

You got it, my friend :D
Thanks for the confirmation, Dave. :) I think I deserve a reward; I'll go find a doggie treat!

Striking photo of your AC stag lambsfoot SFO, Harvey!:cool::cool:

...
I’m pretty light headed! oops I meant light footed! ;):D
:p:thumbsup: I sometimes wonder which way is up, too, Ron!

I’m keeping it simple but fully capable today. Y’all have a great day! :)

A nice collection of sizable cutlery this week, Gary!:thumbsup::)
Thanks, Dean. :)
(Finally finished the final Asimov Foundation novel; R Daneel Olivaw figured prominently, and rather sadly, in the conclusion.)

On my hike today, I carried this Case Sheepsfoot in Walnut wood. Also, I had this green Vic Farmer that GT thoughtfully gave to me (Thanks, Gary).
...
I'll bet that Farmer is honored to be paired with such an auspicious Case, Dean!:thumbsup::cool:

...
Now, you're talkin', GT!!
...
- Stuart
Thanks, Stuart; I'm always talkin', but whether I'm makin' sense is the issue.

It turned cold and breezy overnight, actually beginning to feel like hunting season, so I'm totin' a large (5.25") folding hunter, Queen model 38 (1950-1955).

Phenomenal Peanut, Jon! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I've had the Thorogood's for about a month now, so they're relatively new.

Merci, Gary. Only when the sun is out!
;)

Got a line on a nice Tidioute #29...

Will be my second traditional, wish me luck!

Good luck! I hope your 29 turns out to be even better than that first-class Eureka Jack!:cool::thumbsup:

Gary, the small Case 2 blade barehead is a 6225 1/2 in SS.
Thanks, Alan. :) Isn't that a small coke bottle pattern? Maybe I'm not seeing the characteristic shape without bolsters.

After a nice vacation, RALF is back in pocket this evening.
...
RALF rules, Jeff! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Stopped to have a beer with an old soldier on a Thirsty Thursday...
How old is your Soldier, Todd? Great beer and knife!:cool::cool:

This, 2018 Bull Nose...
and this, old Challenge Cutlery Co (pre 1932) with Sheepfoot main and pen secondary...
Couple of all-business knives, Paul, but that Challenge dresses up to go to work! ;):cool:

This today

Sensational wood on your 77 Barlow, Harry!:thumbsup::cool:

Thank you Gary!!! You certainly did a great job of "catching up" with your marvelous array of interesting cutlery!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Much obliged, JJ. :)

For Friday my totes are both scout patterns wearing black; a pre WWII BSA LF&C in Stagalon and a Victorinox Pioneer X in Alox.:)
Nice Black Friday pair of "scouts", JJ! I don't think I've ever seen an LF&C scout before.:thumbsup::cool:

Today with this old Portuguese knife Martins-Palaçoulo in my pocket.;)
...
Engaging knife from your country, José; the wood grain in the handle is marvelous!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

5K Qs 5K Qs Thanks GT, as far as I know or see..Popcorn is fairly unusual on American Elk yes. Probably depends on where on the antler the slab was cut. Pere David for example, is usually smooth (and quite nice I think) but I've got an example with very deep grooves on both sides, not bad!

Regards, Will
Thanks for your ideas, Will. :)

Lambsfoot of the Week for me is a 2019 Guardians SFO in desert ironwood that I call Valley Jack:

That colorful HJ is a charmer, John! Kudos to @knowtracks for his generosity.:)
It was so nice of him to send it to me, I'm very appreciative. I can see it becoming a favorite carry.

2008 Case Crandall Medium Jack.

That's a sweet looking Medium Jack.

Always great to see the wolf John :)
Thank you, Jack. :)

That Case medium jack looks good, John, and you're doing a fine sales job; what's your commission if I order one??:thumbsup:;)
Just spreading the good word. It's going to become a regular work/office carry for me.

the fridge magnets have been leaping off at me when I walk by this week! :p
Lol... :D

In my humble opinion, I believe that the bloodwood 48s and bloodwood 85s with the corset shield are the prettiest knives to ever leave the GEC line. That's not a knock against the plethora of other beautiful knives they made, but there's something about what they did with bloodwood on those two patterns.

You've captured it fantastically with that photo.
Nice pic @McFeeli .
One of my favorites too Shawn!
