What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I received this little Latama penknife as a wedding present fifty-two years ago today, so this seemed like a good day to carry it. It's in better condition today than I am. (But the marriage is still going great!)

Congratulations ! Precious piece and blessed :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Very nice. Schrade called it a "senator", I call it a baby cattle. They were made from cut co into the walden era.
Always appreciate your wisdom. I seem to remember you have a Schrade Cut Co

Thank you again, Gev. Also subscribed to his podcast.

It’s a 1-XL.

I just returned from a few days in and near Portland, Oregon, and the gorgeous green colors of the coastal forests ...

... have me fixated on this knife, in my pocket today. Cliff Parker slipjoint trapper with green mammoth covers, W2 blade, Cliff’s own Damascus bolster.

Fair seas and tailwinds for you and your bride, sir!

Ruts are okay, as long as they're comfy. :)

Happy anniversary! :D

I'm sticking with these again today:

Sometimes a rut leads to a nice patina!

Just have to watch out for the rut that makes the bucks chase the does into the road...
Almost too nice for me...

Almost.

Yes~when I feel like I should wash my hands before handling a knife, I think it might be above my paygrade.

Love the yella bone! If this one doesn’t get you hooked on traditional slipjoints, I don’t know what will.
