MT, I have just come home from a good days work and I am terribly saddened reading your very bad news.
All of our thoughts going out to your Mum, and you and your family, that is extremely sad news. RIP Tom.
Worked all day and half way through tonight on my lovely lady's car, used my cool soddy ( thank you Andi ) to help with masking etc...love it!
Headed to Billings and Red Lodge today, as I am best man in my good friends wedding. Think I will pack a couple of Bokers. Thank you all and have a great holiday weekend
The knife's a stunner, but just look at those dogs! I assume they're the same as in your signature picture, but it's a real treat to see them closer-up. Thanks.
Thanks for including the description on the barlow-- had I not seen your caption, I was going to ask/guess. That's some beautiful primitive bone. GEC has spoken of more #25s coming this fall (at one time it was August, but clearly that didn't happen). As perfect as my horsecut is, I'm looking forward to seeing what might be coming next, hopefully in the More Stamped Bolsters department.
Whatever that is, I like it. A lot. Do you open it one-handed by catching the "razor" blade's end on your seam or pocket? That's what I would (try to) do.
I have my ebony barlow with me on this knockabout Saturday:
Back again after a couple days away. So sorry Kris, so very sorry. Having been through the "fierce goodbye" I know all too well the jagged edges that it leaves in the heart. My condolences and prayers for all touched by this loss.
