What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm a proponent of stating what "goes without saying", Jack.:D
Thanks for the costume search hint; interesting images!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Impressive pair, Jack; the massive shield on the Black Jack begs to be engraved! ;):thumbsup:

Thanks a lot pal :D :)

We had a bad bad night with our newborn. In addition our first daughter has her 5th birthday today and she was so excited that she couldn't sleep. As a result I have hardly slept and when I have, it was on the floor. As Murphy's laws dictate, everybody fell asleep only shortly before alarm clock went off.

I forced myself into cold shower, woke up older daughter and drove her to kindergarten. Upon returning home and finding wife and child asleep, I realized there's no point going to sleep at this point. Instead I took a walk along a trail to watch a sunrise from a nearby hill.

Alas, there wasn't any sign of sun showing up today.

Nevermind, what better way to start your day off than watching morning commute from a hilltop?

Being still sore from banging my head for not getting a #66 tidioute calf roper when it was still available, I decided to treat myself to carrying my #66 slim.

Then home for a hearty breakfast. The night was terrible, but I love how this scandinavian morning has been unfolding so far.

Had a lot of nights like that, thankfully in my younger days :) Great morning though, thanks for sharing it with us :)

No apologies necessary, those are great choices.:thumbsup:

Thanks buddy :)

Two weeks came and went, and now it's back to work. Enjoyed the time off, but weirdly it's almost refreshing to be getting back to the normal routine

Li'l Lambsfoot, SAK Electrician, and coffee - Lots of black coffee!

Nice pairing Mike :)

Today's birthday carry

I tell ya this H20 from Wurrwulf has quickly become one of my favorite belt knives , it cuts and carries so well.
Especially when I'm at work I can put the knife wherever it's most convenient depending on what I'm doing at the time.

Happy Birthday! :)

Monday, Monday. Can't trust that day! Have a good one!
Eldon Talley City Knife on duty today.

The two for Tuesday; a Trapper and a Toothpick. :)

Looking good JJ :)

Morning folks, had a rotten night's sleep last night, but hoping for a better day overall  First Tuesday of the New Year, and I had an idea to try to carry a random knife from my collection each Tuesday, for as long as I remember  This week's blindfold pick is a Richards of Sheffield Scout Knife, carried along with my Hartshead Barlow :) Have a good day folks

My new one, Maher & Grosh Yankee Whittler, GEC 781317, arrived yesterday. Exceptionally quick to ship, ordered Saturday morning, had a tracking number in about an hour, and arrived Monday.

It’s a biggun’ with three useful blades on three springs. I prefer ebony handles, yet I’m happy with this cocobolo. The pens on GEC 78’s are some of the best. Will drop it in my pocket today.

Great pairing. That should cover all your bases. Beautiful knives too.:thumbsup:

Thanks.
Had a ton of fun.
Went to pizza and a movie last night, then mini golf and dinner today for my actual birthday today.
The arcade with the fancy new card sure is a racket, and the prizes used to be better.
Most fun I had was pestering this squirrel at the mini golf course.

Just wanted to be sure the fat little bigger didn't take my ball up a tree or something :D

Didn't have much call for a knife today but that's okay, I used it last night to remove my new Timex from it's packaging.
Sounds like a fun couple of days. Happy Birthday.:thumbsup:

What a grand old camping/fishing knife. :cool::thumbsup:

What a grand old camping/fishing knife. :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks John, one of my earliest memories is waiting outside the Richards factory for my dad and uncle to come out

Happy Tuesday Everybody
Think my #66 CC Harness Jack will join my usual Lambsfoot today.

That's a smasher John, in every way :)
