What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I too am fortunate to own that very same pair, very, very NICE:cool::thumbsup:

This great Stag Tobacco Bulldog arrived today. I love the Stag on the Mark and Pile sides as well as the "arched" Bar shield, deep grooved (threaded?) bolsters, matchstrike pulls and even the TOBACCO etch on the main:thumbsup: Fit n Finish is stellar:cool:

Pretty nice addition to your stash my friend .

When I switched to an Ifone, I discovered that if you carry it in your back pocket, and sit down, it will flex enough to shatter the screen. Actually discovered that twice:oops:. So after repairs, I bought a “tactical” (gotta love that marketing term) belt case for the phone. Re-stitched all the seams, replaced the belt loop snap with a nut and bolt, and added a lanyard. ~ I have lost too many things at the farm climbing off and on the tractor, and busting through brush (Leatherman with pocket clip RIP). So this thing has almost become a man purse because besides the Ifone, it carries a pen and note pad, a Leatherman, and a mini Maglite. Maybe I should stitch up something like what you’ve got. I like that.

Speaking of not buying knives, that Badger knife show is coming soon, is it not?
Hey grind one of those pens into a coping, and call it a whittler!

@Duckdog , @5K Qs , and cigarrodog cigarrodog ~ appreciate your kind words, gents!

JJ Cahill JJ Cahill ~ nice American Jack! Great pattern. I suppose this old Voos is one too.View attachment 1277072

The old Voos is German, I do believe... (could be wrong)
I read about it recently in the 'Old Knives' thread.
Those Voos knives sure are something. It is the best lookin' two blade, bare head jack I can think of.
Every time I see one, I want one.

The Antonini :)
I actually went with the Pallares friction folder because it’s new and I need to start work on the patina. Locally grown Fuji apples were on sale for $0.79/lb so my lunches and patina-making activities are all lined up for this week. I did carry the Antonini last week, and actually encountered uses for 3 of the 4 tools on it!

Brother Paul, good to see you!! That Bulldog is looking the business for sure!!

Jack Black Jack Black - Nice duo. Looked up coverage of the Wakefield Fire. The toxic smoke was like coming from a dragon that you had to flee from. Hope your doing well.
