What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Started examining the first two Russells...I see notches on one, from what I understand those typically indicate a knife that was commonly used in kosher food prep, making sure certain tools only processed certain foodstuffs (e.g., one knife for cheese and another for meat). I don’t remember what number of notches identify what use the knife is limited to but kind of cool to see on a beautiful old Barlow.
I did notice the notches and assumed they were made for some purpose but had no idea why . Thanks for the insight my friend .

REDMEADOW ~ Very impressive looking knife! And the blued steel and walnut on the 94 is out of this world.

Thanks Dylan! :) You’ve got another wonderful group of subjects and a beautiful photo today.

Nice ensemble Dylan! I like the skinner and am a sucker for an old '94!

Thank you so much, fellas!

Have these 2 Russells ( Brothers from different Fathers ) .

This photo below actually is in focus

Wonderful pair of Barlows, Harry! I particularly like the older one, the relieved spines on the blades is a very nice touch.

I have a handful with me today.

Tell me about the power tool? Great photo and Robeson
Thank you Gev. It’s a mini pry bar/opener/bit holder/pendant, from a custom knife maker. D2 steel. Punches above its’ weight. Just a beautifully designed little keychain EDC gewgaw. This was from his original design. I could never figure out why it’s called power tool, but I like that name. I have a thing for little pry bars.

Happy Friday and hope everyone is staying safe with there loved ones and favorite knives :)
This will be following me around this weekend. I just need to put some leather conditioner on the leather sheath and she has broken really nice already . Sure loving my Bark River BushCrafter LT and Gec#62 easy pocket  Can’t wait to put them to use this summer.

Thank you very much Dylan . Much appreciated .
Ver nice Trio that you have there . I like your Pipe Knife a lot . Years ago I used to smoke a pipe and kept 3 or 4 at work and 1 was always warm . I used to smoke a mixture from Jim Mate's Pipe Shop that was in San Francisco . I stopped it cold 45 years ago but still have my pipes . I have admired yours every time that you post pictures with it in them . Stay safe and well my friend .
