Well, toted it to my dad’s house anyway, where I gave it to him. He carries the original sheepsfoot version I gave him a lot, but keeps saying he wishes it had a point, so I did a quick and dirty wharncliffe mod on this one for him. The nail nick looks a little raggedy, and the handle is from a failed attempt to add an inlay, but it is sharp and functional.

Small TJ for today. Hope our American friends are having a great Memorial Day long weekend!

Thanks, Mike.

And it looks like great minds think alike. I have my identical Case jack out for tomorrow.

Well, it's about 5-hours later and I've mowed the back yard AND the front yard.

Since I was doing okay, Cindy and I prepared our "Swamp Cooler" for the oncoming heat.

Ed, you’re cutting your grass too short. There’s nothing left but gravel!

I love the view out your back door in your other post.
I’ll bet it’s a good place to relax and soak it in.

My carry lately. Whenever I go to the cottage or in to the woods, anywhere where I might need something to whittle with, baton small firewood etc. I almost allways take my Brisa Elver with me. Very strurdy construction, suitable for heavy use and cuts wood well. Micarta handles might make it even better, but I wanted curly birch for aesthetic reasons, still the handle is quite comfortable. Handy size, fits in the pocket of my Helicon trousers. The Antonini is a great slicer for foodstuffs and other soft materials.
