What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

this was originally a cocobolo 78 with some lackluster covers. I sent it to @Signalprick for some sprucing up. Jason recovered it in fordite and transformed a former plain-Jane into the knock-out you see here.

This one has a guaranteed spot in the pocket for the foreseeable future.

That turned out great!

For me today, for wooden Wednesday:

Thank you Ron, sorry about the rain, but I hope you get your break :) Please give Stuart my best, great that you've been able to hook up together :)

Two nice companions to chill out with Ron ;)
Thanks Jack! The rain is not bad. I’ll certainly give Stuart your regards when I talk to him! :)

Oh no! Pex makes plumbing so easy I don’t know why someone wouldn’t take the time to do it right. I’m sure the installer had the crimp rings already crimped and didn’t want to take the time to simply grind one off and shorten it a bit. Another example of saving time actually costing more in the long run.
Looks like you and that nice copperlock got it whipped though!

Pex is great stuff for sure, when done right. I work on mobile home foreclosures and this was under a single wide mobile home. My understanding is all the plumbing is premade for each model and installed all at once on an assembly line. The little copperlock was a cinch for this job, thin blade made slicing easy, locking blade gave a bit of added security in a tight place with wet hands, and the jigging pattern Case used on this one is nice and grippy.:thumbsup:

Thanks a lot JJ, superb Wooden Wednesday pairing there :)

Morning folks, hope everyone's week is going OK. I'm carrying a 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot today, along with a John Primble English Jack, generously gifted to me by Stuart @Duckdog :)
