I like the look of this!
Love those 9554 Craftsman Whittlers Jeff! :thumbsup: :)

They are sweet, Ron. How are the pulls on yours?
Mine will break a thumbnail if I’m not careful. Guess I’d better use the heck out it and break it in! Gave it some Nortons and worked it some last night...
Schrade Muskrat and Buck 444 lock back.

You have a nice Old Timer collection, Bloefield! For as many as they made, it’s not easy to find them with full blades.

Yes, a recover by Glenn.
It was originally done in acrylic and I though it deserved some finer clothes.
So, Ebony handles and a Sword Shield really dressed it up.

That's a neat little fixed blade. :cool::thumbsup:

Finer clothes indeed! The 76 is, in my opinion, a very under rated pattern from GEC.
Thank you sir, Tom Krein makes a fine knife.

Seeing all the Trapper Tuesday posts made me decide to get out my Rough Rider trapper. I seldom carry this one because of the size, but a while ago I found this used Moore Maker sheath at the local knife store and found that it is a perfect fit for a trapper. It's really not much more bulky than the Case Tribal Lock or the Buck 112LT that I often carry. This knife is pretty well done except that the nail nick on the clip blade was too shallow, making it hard get a grip on it. I used a Dremel cut-off wheel to make the nick a bit deeper and now it works just fine.

Jeff, the pull on my main is probably a 7 maybe 8, but very smooth. The pulls on the two secondary's are in the 5 to 6 range and smooth. Norton's is what I use to oil the joints on all of my knives. I also use it on the blades because it's suppose to be food safe! :) :thumbsup:

A complementary couple, r8shell.

The knives and cutter are (were?) tip-top, but you seriously need a humidor, my friend.

Fine pair, Ron, as well as excellent on their own.
