What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Top row, first from left, the Victorinox pioneer.

I did a fairly big pruning of my knives, traditional and otherwise. I eliminated all that were too big, too impractical and have for those reasons not seen much or any pocket time.

The goal was that all my folders have to fit this box. I took out a couple of more modern knives. I'll be damned if I slip from this decision and start accumulating these without getting rid of something first. I have plenty of puukkos and should take a group picture of those next. Missing of the picture is my Sword peasant wood handle friction folder.

LOL! :D I've been checking European dealers to see if any still had the Boker version! :D No luck there, but the new version is still a great-looking knife :) It looks like you're enjoying carrying it Gary
I'm getting used to it, Jack. I do like the little ones and the Nessmi is a handy little thing.
I've been looking for the Solingen made Nessmi over here too. No luck so far.
I like that Gnome!
Enjoy your hike.

Have you seen the larger Brisa Nessmuk knives Gary?

Thanks, the Gnome is another Vox/Boker Plus collaboration I meant to get for ages. It's a useful wee knife, though I find it a bit awkward to sharpen. I've also paired it with a more secure sheath. I'm looking forward to the hike, definitely made the right decision to go tomorrow I think, as it's been raining most of today

I grabbed my HHB then put it away to go on my 4 mile walk around the housing development where I now live. I was dripping with sweat when I returned but at least it wasn't the rain that drenched me:D. After the walk and a shower I grabbed this.

And now for something completely different...View attachment 1380033
It’s not black. It’s not Buck and it’s not a stockman!
I have a very special knife on the way Monday that could very well change my carry patterns so I thought I’d change it up for a couple days to see what I think.
Nice, I have the same Case and the Gerber Shard on the key ring with a silver container instead of black. Haven't used the Case pen much yet, don't know why really.

Just this new to me 15 Boys Knife today. I finally understand the fuss around the 15 frame, it disappears in the pocket but is still large enough to comfortably use. Having said that, I think I'm honing my preference in to 3-3/4 to 4 inch knives for my daily users - as much as I like this knife it's a bit small.
