That's a wonderful pair.
Happy Friday, everyone! It's been a long week! Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

I've rediscovered my appreciation for this 29 lately. It's a knife I had absolutely no interest in when it was announced, but it grew on me during production. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on it, because it has a fantastic combination of blades wrapped up in a very pocketable package. And it doesn't look too shabby, either!

I agree the 29 has a most useful combination of blades in a very handy size. It's been my go-to when I don't know what the day may bring.

TGIF porch folk!
Carrying a pair from Boker today. A new Pry Mini 1674 and a Gents knife. Both made in Solingen. The Pry mini is amboyna burl wood, and the Gents knife is Thuya burl wood. They would have made a good Wooden Wednesday carry, but the Pry mini arrived yesterday. I'll post up my thoughts on it after I've carried and used it a little. First impressions are very good.

Your post made me grab the Pry Mini for the day. Paired with my almost never carried RR Armor Hide.

Because of the inherent thickness already in the Pry Series, I made a super thin pocket slip for the Pry Mini. So far works great.

Another new Boker Gary/! :D The Pry Mini is another knife I've admired, along with the original Pry Mate :D Nice pairing my friend :)
I lay the blame squarely on this forum! My search for a Nessmi led me to an introduction to Jesper Voxnaes and his Boker collabs. Then to top it off the interesting story behind the 1674 knives! I must stop!

Gonna take a drive out through the country side to our favorite Cheese factory today .

I gotta throw in some praise on that CC whittler too, Harry. :) What a nice knife, love the bison shield, the stag and the pattern.

My Black Friday carry today, Winchester sleeveboard pen and a Maher & Grosh stockyard whittler. I noticed some others were giving the 29 some love today as well.

Is it Mars Cheese Castle? Or is that place just for us tourists? I’m going to add another compliment to your Cripple Creek. That’s one sweet looking splitback!:thumbsup::cool:

That Winchester made my heart skip a beat! A beautiful knife, sir. :D

Three fantastic pics of five handsome knives, very nice images gentlemen.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you, my friend - that Ironwood #66 of yours is terrific.

Both knives are a real treat but that M&G is exquisite - the Ebony is something else.

Thanks Dylan, I agree with you my friend :) When spreading condiments with my Lamb though, I reverse the blade, and spread with the 'nose', so as to avoid using the point :) That's a great pic there, and a fine bounty :)

Thank you, Jack! I think I've done the same with my lambsfoot in the past, it sure works wonders in a pinch. Especially right now, I am having to get creative as I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel so none of my utensils are where they are supposed to be.

It's Friday and today that means Ebony for me! ;) I've got my Northwoods Ebony Presidential and my Jack Black Wright's large Ebony Lambsfoot! :D Y'all have a blessed day and please be safe out there! :)

A striking pair, Ron, I am especially enamored by that Presidential.

I am getting ready for a night on the town with my wife - I will be carrying these two.

Thank you very much my friend .
Actually we consider Mars Cheese Castle more of a Tourist Trap . They do sell a lot of nice product but where we go to is 3 miles west of Brodhead , Wis. . They actually do make some very nice cheese there . Beautiful area over there . I will try to post some photos of the area tomorrow .

Thank you very much Greg for the kind words . Quite a history about Cripple Creek Knives . I was able to find mine at the Janesville Badger Blade Show last year .
I like your Maher & Grosch Whittler . I was just never able to pull the trigger on one . There just always seemed another knife buy in the works . Carry yours in good health my friend .

That’s some fine leatherwork! Very nice job.

Thank you very much my friend for the very kind words .
And you did not see me Tote a Stockman today either . I have plenty of them , but I am not Partial to them at all . SPLITBACK WHITTLER is what I would call the Cripple Creek .

Harry

Aw man! I see that now. Still nice.
