Every time I look at your 56 Mardi Gras, I question why I traded mine for something much less appealing. I guess I thought I didn't care for it when I had it and now that I don't, I like and want it back. Ha ha. Maybe that's called "Traders remorse."

Today I am carrying my RR Mini Trapper in VG-10 for the first time.
So it is feeling nice with good snap and above average fit and finish.

After work I will take it to the stones and see how it sharpens up.

Aint it the truth. Truth be told, most of us could be like Grandpaw and carry/use the same knife day after day and be just fine. I know I could, but I paw through my cigar boxes everyday looking for oneI haven’t carried lately.

I'm like my grandpa in some ways. I tend to find a couple of knives that I really like, and carry/use them most everyday. Of course he didn't have a couple hundred to choose from, like I do. I blame it on the internet!

I think my 4 year old grandson dumped this puzzle just before he left yesterday. We'd put it together a few times and got pretty quick at it. It took me a little longer without his help, as I was straightening up this morning.

I find that I like carrying these two knives. They get it done for me.

A couple of Rare Camillus knives today.

Trapper with a fourline stamp on the main and a three line on the pen. A #71 Cattle knife with punch. This is the only one I've come across since I started collecting.
