What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My 2000 post give away is ending tonight at midnight, so I decided to carry the "Sowbelly experiment" in honor of the occasion. I will carry it again tomorrow when I announce the winner of the give away. It's a very nice pocket knife as is the sunset bone version I am giving away. Hopefully the winner will enjoy their single blade sowbelly as much as I have enjoyed this one. Thanks to Don Seals for making the modifications on this knife for me.

Thanks sitflyer, it's a traditional French knife called L'Alpin. Unfortunately the f&f isn't up to the standard of your esteemed US makers. It makes up for it with charm, has a thin grind and no play. Lovely to use:)

Thanks, Paul. It's a great knife and I just love the edge that 52100 will take.

That said, those grand old vintage knives which you and others are sharing here are calling out to me...
