  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I had intended to go to bed after this post, but Jon has reminded me that a song called "Mississippi Queen" exists, and I haven't heard it in FAR too long!
I saw Mountain when they opened for Joe Satriani about 10 years ago (maybe more). Great show. I haven't spent money on a concert in quite a while, but I miss not being able to see bands perform live. There are a few free music festivals in the area that I'd go to every year.

I've got my Laguiole in my pocket today.

That brings back memories, saw Mountain open up for Triumph, I’m guessing around 84 or 85, brought the house down with “Mississippi Queen”!
Got these two with me today, the Boker in Olive wood just arrived Monday.
