Spending some quality time with a G.Wines lambfoot this afternoon as we go through the bonding phase
Put my AW&S lambfoot out to pasture, so to speak ... for the time being
The 01 Tool Steel on the Wines is giving me fits as I try to get a popping edge raised
Got a Ken Onion Work Sharp, Spyderco Sharp Maker and Lansky Diamond hones
Even have an Arkansas stone I got with a Randall knife ... but not going to break it out
This 01 Tool Steel is giving me fits ... wait, i already said that ... nevermind. Shoot
EDIT: @Old Traf ... you have a Wines. Any hints and tips to sharpening?

And finally got the 01 Tool Steel to come to an understanding
Took the Ken Onion Work Sharp and progression through all the belts though
Saved that as a last resort because I knew it would remove more metal than other methods

GORGEOUS !!! ... That knife can't be 100yrs old. Case made some for Standard Knife Co back in the 20's. Is this a Case tribute release? I've been out of the loop on here for a few years and might have missed something. Apparently I did miss something LOL. Man that's a good looking knife.
