Just trying to keep up. ;)

It was fun, we took the puppy and we all had a great time.:thumbsup:

LOL! :D Sounds fantastic John :)

Toting these two pens from Robeson and Crucible Knife Co. :)

Two beautiful penknives JJ, I think I might have to pocket one myself :)

Thanks for the compliment, Jack. :)
Thor may be on the city crest, but the image that sticks with me is Vulcan atop the "town hall". I don't think I have an actual preference for the Greek gods, but I think their names are more familiar to me, in most cases, than are those of their Roman counterparts.
I really enjoy that photo of your ebony lambsfoot!:cool::thumbsup:

While, historically, Thor is more likely to have been worshipped in the area than Vulcan, for the last couple of hundred years, at least, Vulcan has certainly been more closely associated with the city :) Even when the city crest was displayed on every Sheffield bus, I suspect most folks just thought Thor was a bloke in a furry apron :D Thank you my friend :)

I thank all of you for your kind well-wishes for our 40th wedding annuversary.
As Bob Cratchett said in the best version (the one with George C Scott) of A Christmas Carol, I AM A TRULY BLESSED MAN:D

Happy Anniversary to you and the missus Jeff :)

Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start :) Beginning mine with my Hartshead Barlow, and inspired by @JJ Cahill , a Shadow Pen made in Sheffield for Kelly of Liverpool

Cover me ... Going downtown ...
Won property adjacent to mine, at tax auction three years ago.
Mandated time has passed so I can now legally get a tax deed from probate office and add to my homestead.
I should be able to make it past the metal detector at the court house ;) ...

Micarta Monday. Additionally the slip, the penny affixed to the zippo, and the wrench shield hold significant personal and professional meaning to me.
I love those penny flattener things!
