What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Can't compare the Old and the Ancient, but I carry both of them :)

Thanks for the compliment, Jack. :)

The fireworks of color on that Guardians horn lambsfoot and the Abbeydale Jack!:cool::cool:
Those were the days, my friend! ;)
LOL! :D Thanks pal :)

They were indeed, the salad days of Lambfootery! ;) Thanks for Mary Hopkins :D I once had a very overweight, crudely-tattooed Polish neighbour who would sing that when drunk! :D
It seems a long time since we last saw your Taramundi Gary :) scruffuk scruffuk used to have one, and they are cool knives
Your classic old Lamb looks great with that historic picture; have a great week! 😎
Many thanks JJ, you too buddy :)
Thanks for your interest, Gary.
W.H.Morley & Sons was one of the many brands made for Adolph Kastor and Brothers importers (who went on to own Camillus) The image is a four leaf clover, possibly representing the four Kastor brothers.

Here's a collage I found on the web of tang stamps from cutlery brands that A. Kastor is known, or suspected, to have had a hand in.

I hope everyone has a peaceful Memorial Day. I'll be carrying these:

Cool stamps Rachel

I forgot about my utility knife. It's only appropriate to show it on this hat as I spent quite a bit of my time in WESTPAC

I'm jealous ED. I always wanted to do a WESTPAC. Only West Coast ship I was stationed aboard was the USS Callaghan DDG-994.
All we did was a SOUTHPAC on counter-narcotics operations with the Coast Guard. Saw Mexico and Central and South America.
We busted one 'go-fast' boat and confiscated 7.1 metric tons (121 bales) of cocaine. Turned it over to the DEA in San Diego.

This knife and I are definitely attached at the pocket. In this light, burgundy PLOW looks brown ... or no color at all ...

EDIT: I live just off post, Fort Rucker Army Air Training Command. They're working today, Memorial Day.
I see helicopters all the time but not several in formation fast and low, coming directly over my house at almost treetop level. AWESOME ... Sound of Freedom !!! HOO-AH !!!

I heard 'em coming from a good ways off. Couldn't figure what it was though. Too loud, low and rumbling for the normal helicopter flights around here. Figured it must be a BIG copter !!!
Grabbed my camera just in time to catch those four in formation as they went by fast. Man it was awesome they buzzed over my house. Especially today.
A reminder there are those who stand the watch today and 24x7x365.

I miss Derrick Bohn on this Memorial Day! Carrying one of his greatest productions, IMO!
The Willamette was named after a River in a fertile Valley in Oregon!! Bill at GEC did this knife right!! I wished at the time he had offered it to me as an SFO, but I'm glad Derrick got it; a great and generous man!! R.I.P.View attachment 1573987

Outstanding knife, didn't realize it wasn't Sabre ground, even better

3. Healthy 10 yr old, Marcie
4. Healthy 9 yr old, Sam
5. Healthy 7 yr old, Livie
6. Great family and friends
7. Freedom and peace...and the list goes on...

I am grateful to those who have sacrificed.

Thanks for the wisdom Jeff. Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund

Oh..and #8. I’m definitely grateful for a growing bucket of knives. I especially like the yeller trapper and the brass eagle stockman.

Carrying the osage moose today while getting caught up on yard work. Arrived home yesterday evening after a week long road trip. We spent two days in Kentucky visiting a friend who showed us some local sites including this massive osage tree at Fort Harrod. From there we headed down to South Carolina to spend time with daughters family. Another daughter and her family made the trip as well so we had 6 of the 7 grandkids to entertain us. A very enjoyable time. :)
