What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My youngest son and his family just visited and brought me a few Dad's Day gifts!
I'll be relaxing with a new book and a bottle of Wild Turkey Honey sometime today! And, I'll have my mouse near by!

Great choices in reading, "A Sand County Almanac" is a great one!

I haven't posted any carry pics the last five days or so as I have been carrying my Texas camp knife every day!

Harry, that is a fantastic knife. 🤠
I'm a big fan of Winterbottom bone, and it looks great on your Barlow.
There's just something wonderful about Osage on a Barlow... perfect match. 🤠
Fantastic picture, Jack. 🤠
I see you found an appropriate use for Dan's "sweet" bowl. ;)
Great old Stockman, Jack. 🤠
I really like it when they line up the spines of the Sheepsfoot and Clip blades... shows craftsmanship.
Can't blame you for carrying that Case Whittler a lot, they are such cool little knives... I pocket mine often too.
Sweet little Peanut!!! 🤠
Fantastic picture, Dan. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Great composition of woods, leather, and steel.

Yesterday I rotated in a different set of knives to carry for the week. Included, among several others to be posted as the week progresses, were these four.
Alox knife this week is a 1986 Soldier (thanks, Ken):

non-Alox SAK this week is a Huntsman:

Bailed non-SAK (or at least non-Vic) this week is an Imperial BSA scout (thanks, Rachel):

International knife this week, according to my schedule, was supposed to be a MAM sheepsfoot. But I traded that knife earlier this year to J Just Tom. , so I'll carry the Pallares knife he included as an unexpected "extra" in the trade (thanks, Tom):

I love the look of that soup-stag! :D
Hopefully, you slipped a few of those chocolates in your pockets Jack Jack Black Jack Black .
I'm afraid it was an old pic Ed, and I'd already slipped the chocolates into my mouth! :D ;)
Thank you Jack :)

Toting my African Rosewood Lamb.

Another interesting knife
My poor frozen rosemary bush will live on in photos. The replacement isn't sturdy enough yet to make a good knife-stand. Also, I'm not inclined to retake so many pics.

It's sad about the rosemary, but that's a great pic Rachel  I see that AGR have put out a tribute knife, but it's not as nice as the original ;)

Thanks a lot John, you know Dan excels at everything he does ;) I'm glad we didn't go to school together, or I'd have never got a girlfriend! :D ;)
I'm having troubles with my email today.
I took new pictures of today's carries, but can't send them from my phone.
So you all will have to settle for re-posted pictures of my Usual Lamb and my Osage #73

Sorry to hear about the email problems buddy :( Those photos are worth recycling though

Four Knives of Note my friend, but I particularly admire your Imperial Scout, very cool  :)
High of 91F yesterday, 64F today. Go figure...
A "Birdseed Bucket Shot" of two small but capable carries for today.

Fantastic photo Gary  Two great knives too :)

Back from the vet, wallet lighter, boy dog missing one entire nail on his front left wheel
... and currently knocked the heck out.

Calls for a knockout carry today. Northwoods Presidential will do.

Prognosis: I'll very much enjoy today's carry ... and the nail might should grow back in time.

(Mason destroyed the nail in a chainlink fence while excitedly investigating a strange dog that came around yesterday)

Sorry to hear about your dog!! That presidential would make any day better. What a looker. All the best to your dog and wallet on their speedy recoveries. Vet bills are outrageous!

Great picture r8shell! Sorry about your bush.
We brought a potted Rosemary plant 🪴inside last fall. It wintered over pretty well, although it got a little spindly. We put it back on the patio and it's thriving. I'll see how long I can do that.

Same here Gary, and “right on” as I’m cherry pickin’ for a couple of days. Not so many this year as that late cold blast dropped many a stem, just takin’ my time is all.
Your pic there, is a certain kind of perfection to be sure
Hope your picking goes well.
Thanks, I get inspired occasionally 😅! Gotta attempt to keep it interesting since I'm always carrying and posting the same knives!

Thank you sir !!! Wasn't as bad as it could have been
On the phone yesterday afternoon, vet tech talked sedation and surgery
Turns out sedation and surgery wasn't necessary. Muzzled him and pulled the nail off like a hang-nail.
Then pain pills, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic. Strange dog cost me $120 and out the door.

Northwoods Presidential soothes my pain :) LOL
