Decided to put the 110LT "Racer" away, and add my old timey/venerable/classic/like Great-Great Grand Pappy (or Great-Great Uncles) would have carried when hunting (BTI) 25OT 2 blade slipjoint Folding Hunter to the Sawcut/Stag Saturday carry (Shown a couple pages back, in post 195,409, so I won't bore you with another picture of them.)

Staying home today. What with the drought, none of the usual Saturday projects will get done - no mowing, weed wacking, or lawn watering. The wife can; however, fill gallon jugs with the water that runs off waiting for warm/hot water to come out of the kitchen sink faucet and use that water to water her flowers. No Saturday night shower  I'll be totin this Case CV Sod Buster Jr. for mundane tasks.

My dad always carried a Schrade 150T fixed blade. Not sure when he bought it, but he gave me one when I was 12, and I carried it until I was in my early 20s. Then I became too “sophisticated“ and bought a PJ Tomes Custom and carried it a couple years. Now I’m 50; haven’t had the Tomes for years, but still have the 150 as well as my dad’s. I guess us old guys know what works.

Thank you very much, Jack!!! Those were the two attributes that attracted me to this beast! :)

Two amazing Friday friends you're toting today; lovely covers on both of those beauties wearing musical bagpipe ebony and old Utica bone, cool propellor too!😎:thumbsup:
Many thanks JJ, I used to work on those Lister engines when I fiorst left school :)
Toting these two old Pocket Eze slicers for Friday; easy on the pockets, today. :)
Such a cool pairing  :)
Love that pic Alan :) I was sat outside, the other evening, drinking red wine with some neighbours, when one of their kids offered me some Peanut M & Ms :D Knowing they wouldn't go with the wine, I instinctively declined, but recalling that it must be many years since I last tasted a Peanut M & M, I asked if I might have jus one. It was great! :D
Saturday carry, kitty approved! View attachment 1597702

Awesome pic. Makes me want one :). Right up there with Gary’s photos…
I got my new (to me) Barlow. My first Barlow. I’m calling it “the poor mans 15” ;). Getting ready to harvest my first decent tomato of the season. View attachment 1597844

Seeing yours made me want to pull a few of mine out. It’s hard to beat a good ol’ Barlow!
