Spent some time fishing with my oldest son today. He's not a fly fisherman, so we went spin casting for bass and whatever else might be hitting. We got skunked, but did get a few strikes. Even fishless we had a great time!

Nice photo Gary, that’s the great thing about fishing for me anyway, is that it’s rarely about the fish, but I didn’t always see it that way!

Bananas are even faster patinators than potatoes.

I learned that when feeding our turtles, they love bananas and I love cutting them up for them, especially when I’m ready to start a nice patina.

Don’t know how I managed to get my wife to marry me but she did, and I’m very happy she did! The SAK for obvious reasons, and the “92” is the year we were married. This is a very special knife to me for that and other reasons, it’s a true “Safe Queen.”
