Had this 83 in my pocket a lot since it arrived.

This guy went missing for a few days. Thankfully, I found it yesterday in the bottom of the washing machine. Doesn’t look any worse for wear. I stuck a rag into the blade well to get the moisture out, and put a generous amount of oil in the pivot. Seems right as rain now.

Thankfully it turned up ... all spic and span !!!
Never seen a shield/medallion like that on a GEC handle ... what it is ??

I bought it as is. The previous owner drilled the holes out a bit where the chain used to attach, and glued in thin slices of mosaic pin.

You and I would agree on that. My brother worked there during the summer while he was going to college in Laramie about 10 years ago. Some of the stories he told me about it….I’ll be okay if I never make it there.

Ebony Schatt & Case today. The small pen blade on the Case whittler bit my thumb at the end of the day while using it. Small slice and I cleaned the blood off the bolster before taking this pic.
