What traditional knife are you keeping handy on the big day?

It's always the Lonewolf Loveless City Knife. My Dad gave it me for Christmas, the year it came out. It's been used on Christmas Day ever since.

I'll be carrying my green Peanut like everyday, but I'm thinking I might slip my Ebony 83 into my pocket for Christmas Day. It just feels special.

Might put the Opinel 6 (Thanks, Brett!) into my back pocket.

Oh, Geez... I might need to carry my Beer Scout, too, for Holiday beverages.

I'm getting another Peanut from my wife, too, so that should definitely be in my pocket...

Hmm... I may need to think this through a bit more...
All you really need, Shawn, is one of those stretchy, elasticized belts! :D I bought one soon after I started carrying knives, and I just pull it a little tighter each time I add another knife to a pocket! With a belt like that, you can carry as many knives as you want each day, including Christmas!!!;)

...
I'll be carrying my GEC Red Acrylic French Kate in honor of the lamp in A Christmas Story (It's a major award!)
...
Thanks for the reminder, Halfneck!

Yesterday and today, I've gone with my only "dedicated" Christmas knife, a Rough Rider Merry Christmas canoe of unusual size:

I'm also carrying a Case CV chestnut jigged bone sowbelly stockman that was a surprise Christmas gift a year ago (thanks, Ron):

I also have a couple of festive, seasonally-colored red/green pairs:
a Vic Recruit tuned for whittling (thanks, Greg) and a pick green bone Hen & Rooster mini-canoe (thanks, Will)

as well as a red bone Rough Rider baby copperhead and a Rough Rider green Stroke of Luck canoe.

And, thanks to Halfneck, today I also have my Marbles leg knife in homage to Ralphie's old man and his Leg Lamp. ;)

I hope everyone is enjoying a celebratory, monumental holiday! :D

When it comes to opening presents/packages, I think a good straight edge is a must. I'm carrying my Ebony Crown Lifter today (figure I'll need the other blade for opening Christmas beers later, anyways). :D

This is my Christmas weekend carry at my parents' house. The crazy sharp R.Bose WT made quick work of any packaging.

Like to thank everyone for their contributions to my thread this Christmas. I think of myself as one fortunate enough to be blessed with friends and family with which to celebrate Christmas, not least all those on the bladeforums site. Merry Christmas to you all, and may you enjoy the rest of the festive holiday. Mark...AKA Blake the Blade.

Nice set of knives Will, well equipped indeed Sir. You may also notice I got some socks. So that's everything; socks, a new penknife and some decent reading material. What more could a man want?
