This Rosewood "Big-un" in honor of Ron @Half/Stop

and this 4 5/8" Case Saddlehorn.

We don't really do presents, since it's just me and my parents, so I treated myself to a new "user knife", which got delivered today. A case trapper in dark red bone. Which I might use at Christmas diner tomorrow!

    My kitty approves!

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I made a decision to carry my electrician until Christmas to get to know it. I might also put my peanut in my watch pocket just because I like it.

I was thinking of going with my green bone tidioute 81 stockman and my little old red case 62109x for the color scheme. We will see what happens.

For Christmas, I usually just stick with whatever knives my rotation schedule has assigned me for the week. But this year, I'm going to carry this Case CV sowbelly stockman with chestnut jigged bone covers in memory of Ron @Half/Stop, who gave me the knife as a surprise Christmas gift 5 years ago.

And as long I had the knife storage boxes out to retrieve the sowbelly, I thought I'd snag this seasonal Rough Rider giant canoe:

Something just seemed fitting to carry an Old Timer today

My wife made us braised short ribs for dinner last night. Merry Christmas!
