We don't really do presents, since it's just me and my parents, so I treated myself to a new "user knife", which got delivered today. A case trapper in dark red bone. Which I might use at Christmas diner tomorrow!

For Christmas, I usually just stick with whatever knives my rotation schedule has assigned me for the week. But this year, I'm going to carry this Case CV sowbelly stockman with chestnut jigged bone covers in memory of Ron @Half/Stop, who gave me the knife as a surprise Christmas gift 5 years ago.


And as long I had the knife storage boxes out to retrieve the sowbelly, I thought I'd snag this seasonal Rough Rider giant canoe:
