I personally would like to see a knife like the BK2, only long like the 9, and 3/16's thick. I also think it would be cool to see Ethan release some sort of cool hatchet/tomahawk.

I'm also hoping like hell to see a facsimile of the Kephart made, Beckerized. That would be a dream knife for me.

What would you like to see?

Parang

A 1/8" thick 12" long wacker like this

100% in Agreement with ya Warrior

So some of you have already expressed the same ideas I have had percolating in the back of my head.

But first and foremost:

I have long wanted a Becker Kephart blade. I know Ethan has stated that the 16 was kind of his answer to that and though I like the 16, it just simply isn't a Kephart. If Ethan and Ka-Bar were to come out with a true Kephart design, I would buy one and wear it everyday. In fact, I would buy two, one for me and one for my boy. I have always been a fan of simplistic, yet highly effective designs, with clean lines and a no nonsense appearance. Becker knives already provide that so I think a Kephart blade would not only be a great addition to the lineup, but it would also be an enormously fitting tribute.

Secondly: Considering how much a fan most of us tend to be of axes, I would love for Becker Knife & Tool to come out with their own line of axes. Maybe just start with a hatchet and a Boy's axe, that would make my year!

Thirdly: I know it has been mentioned a time or two in the past but a Becker folder would absolutely rock. I know it would prove to be a spendier knife than what they typically are apt to produce but I cannot imagine them not selling, especially if the design principles fall in line with the rest of the lineup.

Here's what I've wished for over the years:

Pack axe for sure.

Maybe Ethan's take on a folding/takedown saw.

Becker bird and trout knife; something I can use to clean the fish my daughter has I've caught.

A drop point version of the nine would be sweet (purely for personal aesthetic reasons).

There was already a prototype folder I believe it was not profitable for him to get in to it then maybe someone who knows more will chime in.....

lol dubz when I saw the title I went through my mind before clicking the link and I said everything you said lol great minds think alike haha

I think the scandi would be more interesting than the kephart, personally. Dubz did a nice rendering or two of that option awhile back. And in either case, scandi or kephart on the tweener handle would make sense, IMO.

The 20, 21, and 29 fit the chopper desires pretty well. Drop-point 9's have been made out of stock 9's, and they're cool. Probably not enough of a variation to warrant a separate run. A Becker parang or 3/32"-1/8" machete would be a departure - going thinner, but not cheapo-thin. Say 16"?

A knife-interested friend of mine on the ship said he wanted a big Becker Folder just last week. He's got a BK-2. I don't think making a folding knife of that stature makes any sense since you lose the strength, but a BK-16 or BK-14 folder could get interesting.

The scandi daizee is speaking of:

I would rather see the Beckhart with the Kephart style handles personally. They would fit my hand. Ethan also said the Kep handle orients in the hand very well:

Drop point 9. Actually, it's a BK9, with a BK2 front end:
