So in honor of the Topic started by Ken Onion about potential new models seen here http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=548345 reaching over 200 posts, i thought i would start a topic in a similar vein.

This time, i would like to hear which models you'd like to see in what variations. For example, i would like to see among other things which ill post from time to time, a revival of a Ti-ZDP Mini Cyclone with anodized handles in different colors, Olive Drab and Blue come to mind as particularly complementary to a black blade. Also i'd love a Ti Handled Mini Cyclone with a hollow ground SG2 blade.

i lack photoshop skills, but mock ups are always welcome. Let's see how many things we can come up with.

There needs to be OD and Blue handled Blurs with S30V black coated blades (and they need to be stud-locked equipped ;) ), Spec Bump needs to have tip-up carry, and an interesting thing I would like to see in the rainbow leek is an anodized bright green backspacer...
:P :D
I'm just dreaming here of course.

I'd like to see some steel upgrades on current models.

I'd like to have a few TI frame lock Blurs with composite blades...ZDP and/or D2. Also, the ENER-G II and Cyclone fitted with the same steels, including a SG2 option.

AND I WANT A SATIN FINISHED HOLLOW GROUND TABOO!

full silver G10 handles on anything (or everything) that has full G10 handles, that's all I want, that would make me happy, please, please, please.... I mean, um:cool:

To fill out the family I'd like to see a Damascus Shallot eventually.

Composite Chive, Scallion and Shallot.

I like the 'Onion' family and would love to see successful concepts run through the whole line.

My Ti/BG42 JYDII could sure use a little brother. It doesn't have to have the BG42, but it has to have the Ti frame lock.

I'd finally buy a Blur if it came with a framelock. I don't do liner locks, not hatin', just a line I drew in the sand a while ago. The few I have or would consider purchasing are either DA autos, pure gentlemen knives or customs.

I would like to see a fully tricked out Nrg, with Ti frame lock handles and a composite blade.

What I would like to see is all Kershaw liner locks upgraded to the same thickness as the one on the JYD II.
Or just frame lock variations of all of them, but that's probably a bit of a stretch.

And more composite blades are always a good thing, as long as I get a CPM S90V Offset too.

My Ti/BG42 JYDII
Pssst, it's SG2.

:cool:I'd like to see them make a model similiar to Spyderco's C83 Persian(full size),with AO....or did they do that already?
There's sooo many different Kershaws...:o

I also like the neoprene & injection molded handles(like on the speed-bump).They're nice & grippy:thumbup:

you know i was wondering what BG42 was.

onto my next variation request. i would very much like to see a frame or studlock needs work with G10 slabs a la JYDII and a bigger handle with the same length blade in a composite with CPMD2. it would have to be hollow ground and still a sheepsfoot style wharncliffe. Maybe some finger grip cut outs in the handles basically something with a hefty handle that feels super solid and the ultimate in box cutting utilitarianism for the blade.

CB Cyclone
CB Shallot
CB Skyline
Carbon Fiber handle slabs on Skyline
Heat striped Ti slabs on something
CB fixed blade
CB damascus blade with D2 edge
Ability to purchase blades seperate from knife
Ability to buy handle slabs seperate from knife

I'd love to have a CB RAM with CF overlays. I love the RAM
as is, it would just be really sweet with the above additions.

i'd love to see more Leeks with Titanium Frames (like the old 1660TiZDP).

like a Leek 1660TiS30V (titanium frame and S30V steel of course) or maybe a Leek 1660TiCB (Ti frame and the new D2/Sandvik composite blade)

i'd make either one of them my EDC in a heartbeat!!!

YES

+1 on that. It would be neat if a Damascus Shallot could be made with a third Damascus pattern.

I like the way you think. I really love the titanium frame on my TiZDP.
