We had an 8-track... We bought a '75 Beetle convertible that had one. Right when 8-track was dying; we scarfed up a dozen or so titles from a big bin at a discount store for a buck apiece.....

Just a few years earlier you couldn't keep one in your car....You can always tell what's popular by what's getting stolen.

Only on the bobtruck. The car did have a manual choke though.

On the floor. So it could sit in the muck of the footwells during a nasty winter so it could rust out or otherwise not work on all the old POS cars that I grew up driving.

What radio...Had a 39 chevy sedan that had a million miles on it and looked like it also. Got my license in 62 but drove the car for years without one. those were the days.

Got my license in 76. Looking at the Billboard top 100 for 1976 there were sure a lot of great tunes. I doubt I would find as many in 2015 top 100.

The high beam? My first car was a 1964 Buick Special. The high beam switch was in the same place as it would have been on the Coronet. Got my license in 77. Willie Nelson's "Redheaded Stranger Album" and Joe Walsh's "Life"s Been Good".

I wish mine had looked like this...

I got my license in Atlanta in '82 but my first car was a '76 VW Golf (Rabbit) which was a hand me down from my brother.
