What was your first Custom/Midtech/Expensive knife?

My first expensive(to me anyway) knife was the HEST 2.0 . Boy am I thankful that I never saw the first vesion . I would have bought it.
My first custom was a Daniel Fairly TBOK . If you have not checked his stuff out you owe it to yourself to take a look. You like nice knives don't ya?

Small sebenza 21 I just got last monday!!! Most expensive knife before that was a 0561 I bought new, and I just sold that to another member.

I really love the sebenza so far, I havent cut a whole lot with it yet though. I cant wait til the scales start to get scratched and worn in. The minute I opened it up I scratched both sides of the scales up with my keys just so I dont get caught up with getting the first little scratch on it!

My first custom was a camp knife by Edmund Davidson that my wife bought me for our 5th wedding annaversary 22 years ago.Since then she has bought me several customs for annaversary gifts like a custom from Trace Rinaldi back in 2002.

The first custom I purchased was a little carbon damascus wharnecliff by Darrell Ralph - a Christmas gift for my wife.

My first custom for me was a carbon damascus and mammoth ivory gentleman's folder by Brian Tighe. Still my favorite EDC to this day.
