The Last knife of 2010 (and what a knife year it was) was an Iisakki Leuku. Prior to that though it was an ESEE-3 and some Spyderco.

For me, 2010 was the year of ESEE. I now have 5 of them. The only brand I have more of is Mora and, you know, at $11, $12 each, how can you resist.

Next up (probably first for 2011), will be an ESEE-4. Not sure if I am going with Orange or the Gray. Also some more Iisakkis...those are some nice knives and I like them a lot. ESEE speaks for itself here obviously.

Last arrivals: Becker BK-2, micarta scales, Spydie Resilience and a Johnson Ad.\Ka-Bar Potbelly. What should be in tomorrow or the day after: Becker Magnum Camp and an Eskabar necker. Kinda horned up on Beckers, but have my eye on ESEE also. Want a machete etc. Ya, I definitely need more knives. :D

last blade 2010 was Becker magnum camp!
this year maybe the laser strike if it comes out this year, and some machetes.
but more importantly to use more of what I already have!

:foot:

Early 2010, my first high end fixed knife, Chris Reeve Mountaineer 1, which took two months to manufacture and ship, last of its kind.
Mid 2010, my first Busse Sar 3, which had to go back and Garth resharpened for free and it slices like a razor.
Late 2010, my first big blade Busse, BWM. I used the hell of it and its still going.
Early 2011, my first and probably last Busse for a while, NMFBM, and its being used a lot, like they all should.
Overall, my collection is done for now, but the big blades have seen more work than the other smaller fixed blades. Now time to spend 2011 using them more and learning to sharpen them better each time.
I hope everyone has a safe and healthy new year!!!
