  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What was your most recent knife purchase?

I've got a couple of custom fixed blade knives on the way right now- one form Aaron over at Gray Wolf Knives and another that'll be a Christmas present from Malanikka. I'm waiting on the GWK right now to finish it's delivery (overseas holiday backup) but here are the pictures he sent me of what I can expect when it finally arrives.

That stuff aside, I'm checking out Lionsteel's unique folding design in the SR-11 and T.R.E. and seeing how that works...

Got a Brous Sniper with frame lock and am very pleased! Cool knife!

Hey everyone....new here ......Just ordered a Spyderco Mule team.....Was wanting a edc fixed blade. Hope this will fit the bill.
Jack
Mule Teams are great EDC blades. Which one did you get?

I haven't bought anything lately but I managed to get the OK from my sister to buy my nephew a Leatherman Wingman for his 18th B day in Nov. I though he might get a little more use out of a MT vs a knife.

I didn't want to go too expensive. He tends to, ahem, misplace things...

I have the linerlock version (which I had to send back because it didn't always lock up when opened, but works fine now) and the thin liner always bugs me. I wish I could trade it out! You think the improvement is worth buying another or am I nit-picking?

I purchased a Spyderco Polestar. Sounds like a stripper... hope it performs like one ;)

Three Rivers LTC Nomad. CPM-154 stonewashed blade, titanium and carbon fiber. Slipjoint. 2.4ish inch blade. Legal limit around here is 2.5".

Might depend on what you are looking for...I figure the liner lock version must be lighter. I'm liking the design a lot, but its heftier than I would have thought.

Work had me on the road last week. There was a small pile waiting for me at home:
  • Spyderco Manix & G10 Manbug. They're both pretty well used, specially the Manbug, but I got them both for $85.
  • Hinderer XM-18 3" Wharncliffe & Half Track
  • A well used Chris Reeve small Inkosi I picked up cheap (relatively)
