What was your strangest knife use?

I cut a jimp off inside copy machine that was causing jams yesterday.

Used my sabre-grind delica to pop a metal tab out of the usb port on a new computer I was building. Love that thick tip for utility work.

I'll be packing this for the next 8 months.

I use my pm2 that is always on me or near by (when not at work in the office) to hit the button on the smoke detector when the oven smokes. Way easier than grabbing a chair or step ladder.

Scraping tile adhesive, prying up tile, cutting out sections of grass for transplant, stabbing into oil filters to get them off, lining the whiskers on my chin.

I don't really think those are strange though.

My girlfriend found the handle of my glock fieldknife to be strangely arousing... Go figure.

@Upnorth: Nice Predator! :D

Strangest use for me is probably using my CS barong machete to chip accumulated ice out of the wheel wells of my car.

I've got an old Buck 112 knockoff with a broken tip here on my desk. At some point I decided it would be a great idea to sharpen the tip up at a stupidly low angle. It has turned out to be an amazing (trying in vain to come up with a more manly way to say this...) pedicure knife. It handles everything from cutting off hangnails to cleaning up the eponychium (thanks Wikipedia!) and beyond.

Actualy it's a Lesche and I bought the Predator Raven shovel also. Tough bugger, I needed it because I bend a shovel every year. In a way you are correct though, Lesche\Predator are all a family business.:thumbup:

Trying to get rid of really sticky duct tape around the wires for my old headphones. Somehow the serrations came handy. But I ended up cutting the wires. :S

Yeah I knew it was one or the other but was too lazy to look it up and confirm. :p The Raven is a sweet piece of work. I use my Big Red all the time for things no sane person would ever use a normal shovel for. Gotta' love 'em! :cool::thumbup:

Benchmade Emerson CQC-7 that I used for scraping paint off the panelling in my basement. The previous painter failed to clean the dust and fuzzes (?) off the wall before paining, and scraping the detritus off usually resulted in long strips of latex paint. Note the intended use of a combat knife, but it did the job.

Ya, just me walking around trying not to let the quarter drop from between my butt cheeks. :o I love the build quality on these tools and the temper. They will flex then spring back to shape. :thumbup:

When in the Military, After spending a few weeks in the jungle with out showers or bathing we used the M-7 Bayonet to scrape the sweat and dirt off our bodys didn't stink any less but we felt cleaner. LOL reminds me of the old joke about the new deoderent
It dosent stop the smell but nobody can tell whare its comming from.:eek::D

was playing beer pong in a garage with a low ceiling, maybe a hair over 7 feet. Fabric had been stretched across the ceiling, as well as some decorative lights, by the girl who lived there to make it look nicer. Well part of the fabric started sagging low right over my side of the table, without a thought in my mind (I had drank a bit....) a whipped out my CPM M4 Military and pinned the fabric to the ceiling with one swift stab... Then played the rest of the game with my knife hanging out of the ceiling :p
