I am looking to buy a watch and want to know what to get. What watches do you have experience with and would you recommend to me? Im looking to keep this under $100.

Thanks,

SDD

Casio G-Shock. Go on down to Walmart and pick one out. Rugged, reliable and look good.

I was looking at a G-shock but there is so many I dunno which one to get.

Ooo, that's a bit of a loaded question there. Any features in particular that you are looking for or need, or just a eveyday watch. And like smustian said the G's are pretty rugged and inexpensive.

What kind of watch are you looking for SDD? Digital, analog, heavy duty, gentleman's, chunky, light? I wear a PRS-10, which is a pretty simple analog that is unfortunately out of your price range.

I prefer automatic/eco drive.

I own (but at the repair shop again :() Hamilton Kahki Automatic and a Citizen titanium black/orange watch that I'm not sure the name.

Really digging the Citizen with its fabric strap. The Hamilton is nice all SS with a sapphire face, but after having the crown leak, then having the repair botched and it out again, I've lost a lot of faith and love for the watch.

I usually wear some version of a timex in the woods. Been analong lately, bit the ironmen I've had never let me down

Casio G-Shock GW5600J-1 is a good one. I just picked one up recently and it's great.

I wouldn't mind picking up an automatic Seiko sometime.

This is the watch I wear, but doesn't fit your price criteria.

How about a Wenger? They can be had for around $100 and still Swiss Made quality. I have one that's been ticking away for close to 10 years.

Im looking for an everyday watch that can take a beating and I dont really care if it's digital, or analog.

+1 G-Shock
I think I paid around $60 for mine and I like it a lot, FWIW I used to have a Seiko Kinetic and really didnt like it at all

Marathon Navigator - USG issue NSN 6645-01-544-9475. I like it better than anything I've had so far.

I like Seiko automatics. They are tough and they dress up or down very well. Casio G-Shock watches have also been very good to me.

Then go with a G-Shock. Here's mine:

That being said, I much prefer wearing an automatic watch. Here's my Seiko SKX007:

With me being a girl you probably don't want my opinion but guess what I'm giving it anyway! :D I wear a silver and gold Dale Earnhardt watch. It has been thru hell and back and still looks pretty good. It cost me around $150 about 2 years ago or so. I love it. By the way does the Swiss Army watches have any girl styles?
