What watch do you wear?

I love the DS action diver. It's a ton of watch for the money. How do you like yours? Have you had any other watches by Certina? I like this one so much that I've been pondering the DS Podium Chrono as well. Some great prices right now on these.

I love it! I've had it for about 1,5 years now so it's still quite fresh. I haven't had other certinas, and this is my first automatic too. I used to wear G-shocks in the past but I moved away from the plastics and went to slippies and so on and so on. :)

For me the divers are "the one that does it all" kind of watches so I am not planning on getting any other watches. I am "one watch guy".

I am not watch expert so I cannot say why I like the watch but I like it. Very "tank" for the size, and in fact is perfect size without looking "douche" like some of the big modern watches are. I like the steel band as it wont stain or get stinky, and certainly wont wear out easily.

That's great that you love the Diver. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the G Shocks though. I own 4 of them and absolutely love em. They are great for just throwing on with sweats and running errands. They have a huge following and people go nuts for them. They also hold up well to any sort of damage. I've had a couple of mine for years and have done everything from yard work to working on my cars with them on and they still have yet to show any wear and tear.

If you are looking for another brand to try that's a very good value in the same kind of range as the Certinas you should take a look at Hamilton and Tissot. They have some great designs and use the same auto movements as our Certina does. Just something for you to check out. Enjoy your watch my friend.

Not dismissing G-Shocks at all friend! They are pretty much the toughest and most reliable watches one can get. They just aren't my style anymore, so I guess I could say it's vanity. I in fact still have one of my G-Shocks as backup / sports / really crappy work watch and as backup alarm clock.

I'm actually rocking one of mine as I type this.

This one I no longer own. Gave it as a gag gift to an online friend. He probably though I was sending him a vintage Omega.
