Oh ya baby! Is that your new Marathon?
Yup. I switch off with the Deepsea every 3 days.
I love my Marathon GSAR. Mostly because it was free! Lol
Issued to you, or a gift from a loved one?

Nice watch! Everything has a price though. I'm sure the tax payers would appreciate you recognizing their contribution, just like you appreciate them recognizing your service.
Wow! Coolest thing I was ever "issued" was a Gerber multi tool.

I know you 101st guys got some cool stuff too!
Issued. My unit issued one to every SFC and above on my last deployment to Iraq.
It wasn't free. We paid for it.
You do know, don't you, that the watch isn't a retain item regardless of what the supply sergeant said or the unit commander allowed unit personnel to get away with? It does all add up which is why it is considered abuse in the waste, fraud, abuse trifecta re congressionally appropriated funds from the taxpayers' pockets. I say all that so you might consider foregoing telling others in the future you basically swiped the watch from the military since uch abuse across the government costs the taxpayers a bundle they shouldn't have to pay. Many a taxpayer may feel no love for it.It s a great watch. Keeps nice time, bright tritium, held up very well except for the rubber strap. Almost every one had the strap fail during the deployment. I hope you feel the love every time I wear it along with every other soldier in SOCOM who had one issued.
