  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What watch do you wear?

I know the reputation and price of the isofrane straps but I had not memorized the exact look. I compared today and it looks very close, very very close. I'm sure Borealis borrowed the design elements for their straps. The Borealis is a comfortable strap and works well, and has lasted longer than I would have experienced from some rubber straps.

It’s a nice look for sure. 👌🏼

First purchase of 2022, initially put it on an Uncle Seiko velcro strap however I find the Haveston NATO is more befitting...

I like that Seiko. I find myself moving away from dive watches and liking field watches. These Seikos are just about in the size range that I like. What is your wrist size?

That is an interesting combination of Seiko styling cues from past models. It appears to have the Samurai case, the Monster hands and the dial pattern from the Knight.

That's a good question. I just checked with my wife's tape measure and it looks like I have a 7" flat/oval shaped wrist.

It appears to be a King Samurai. I'm sure toxophilus toxophilus can correct me if I'm wrong.

ETA: I can vouch for the store in the link. I ordered a PADI edition Turtle from him last year, and it has pretty consistently run less than a second of deviation per day, compared against my iphone. I've only got one other mechanical watch that can compete with it. I'm guessing a lucky break, because he doesn't advertise adjusting the Seikos he sells.
Hopefully it is OK to put all this information in here, since it is only for watches. If not, I apologize. I'm sure someone will remove it and reprimand me.
