What watch do you wear?

fugu ny0111, right?....fugus are favorites of mine......

nice grab there.

You're partly (read mostly) to blame for it 🤣

It's a fugu, but the NY0159-57E. Still waiting for the NB6021 to come in, so this should distract me until then ;)

ahhhh....ny0159......thanks....

ill take that blame proudly. these are not appreciated as much as they should be.

think I've seen your name over on watchuseek. when they come in, show 'em off over there in the citizen forum. I use a different name there....couldn't use that name here.

(And realized I was ahead of the game setting it this morning…. One more day to go in August! 🙃)

nice. love the orient divers. that's a triton, I think....shopped well a great value for 200 and change with sapphire and in house movment.

also nice radio citizen there. bet your close enough to Japanese radio signal so it adjusts itself nightly to correct time. love these but won't pick up signal here where I am.

great grabs there, Sir. enjoy 'em.

Thank you sir.

I had an Orient Mako II for a month before my toddler lost it for me, and I was pretty enamored with the quality for such a low cost. This RA-AC0K replaced it and is even nicer.

The Citizen was an impulse buy, and seems pretty nice. It was able to adjust pretty quickly with a signal.

To be honest, I sorta have to baby these watches or the bands break. I'm pretty hard on watches, so G-Shock is my normal wear.

I can't seem to get the Citizen Blue Angels Chronograph AT off my mind. Will sync up with any of the 6(?) radio stations. One touch chronograph, can set it to any one of 26(?) time zones. They have a similar movement in one that is NOT a Blues watch.... but it is even more expensive. Not sure why.

I am not sure about the syncing. I will say that the stainless steel case is pretty heavy though. I do like the styling of the Blue Angel model.

I noticed the lume on mine sorta peters out faster than my Seiko and Orients.

However, I do enjoy the busy dial of a chrono. It's always nice to have variety in a watch collection.

The one I'm talking about is actually VERY similar to yours. Has the Tachymeter bezel. It is discontinued by Citizen, but still available at one online retailer. It's the AT8124-83E. Same movement as the Blues, same layout. Just (maybe) a little less busy dial, and looks like maybe the lume on the hands is a little ... more.

Actually, looked at your photo again. The hands are the same. So no more lume than yours.

Wearing this today.

DANG! I just noticed that the movement number writing disappears under the chapter ring near the end. 🤬 I guess Seiko's QC hasn't improved any over the last year (since I bought my last Seiko). At least the bezel and indices line up pretty well.
Guess this one will definitely be my beater. And no qualms now about cracking it open and adjusting the speed, if I need to (first check shows it running about -3 seconds/day).
