What watch do you wear?

don't know what it is about the yellow g shocks. but just like them even more.......one of these days I need to get one before they are all gone.......
Now’s a good time. They just released a bunch of new yellow ones. I’m tempted by the yellow and grey DW6900, but thankfully it doesn’t have solar or Multiband 6, so I should be able to restrain myself 🤣

I like this model so much that I have 2 of them, so...

Both 126660 or did you get a 136660 too?

No 136660 here, sadly not Daytona either. I made the mistake of turning down a couple of watches my AD offered me in the past, saving the money for my grails, and the AD has almost stopped calling me with new watches now.

My last new Rolex from him was in 2020. I had been on the list for a white dial ceramic Daytona for years, and also was on the list for a 126660. While waiting I first got a used but like new 126600 in 2018, then I picked up a barely used like new 126660 in 2019 while still waiting. Finally, after 2 years on the list, in 2020 my AD finally called me with the 126660 that I was seeking. I couldn't say no to the second 126660 or there would be no getting more watches from the AD in the future, and I still wanted him to consider me for the Daytona.

So I took the second 126660 as the original purchaser, but have only worn it to my daughter's wedding in Sept 2022, while the first DSSD was at Rolex getting the bezel fixed after I knocked the lume pip out and made it run 2.5 sec/day fast. The fixed it up for $60, and got it to run within 0.1 sec/day of atomic time. But meanwhile #2 has been in the safe every since #1 came back from service. I originally planned to sell the extra DSSD #1, but my son begged me not too and wanted me to sell the SD43, but I like that too much to sell - it fits my large wrist well.

So, I have mostly been wearing the 126600 and the original 126660 SD43 and DSSD D-Blue, since most of may Omega co-axial autos are now due for service (my Moonwatch was serviced in 2020, and I do wear that).

I also wear my Pepsi GMT II Mk2 (126710 ?), but my Hulk has been a safe queen since I got it June 2018. I regretted selling the first Hulk that I bought in 2015, which was sold to help pay for my GMT II BLNR (later sold for the Pepsi), and I'm glad I got another Hulk at a fair price before they were discontinued. I'd maybe sell the Pepsi GMT II Mk2 before I sell any others, but at this stage of retirement any Rolex that I sell will not be possible to replace.

I'm a little sad because I have the Hulk receipt from Ben Bridge Jewelers and I have the box, but misplaced the warranty card and spare link - it was in the Rolex Box and I moved it into the green suede snap-pouch, and then my wife moved it and doesn't remember where she put it. I figure it wont matter once I send it for it's first service because they give me a service warranty card, and I'm never selling it anyway.
