  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What watch do you wear?

Is that one metal or the one that's Vacuum metalized plastic?
I almost bought one that looked like this a few years ago until I realized it was actually plastic and I worried that would eventually flake/ peel and look bad because my watches take a beating.
plastic one....

I'm not really hard on watches...I've had it for awhile now and its held up fine....but im careful not to bang into things and such.

I guess I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover the.
Maybe I'll pick one of these up at some point.
yeah. these are a good deal, I think. I like the metal look even though it's cheap plastic, but the bracelet is stainless....

I like what casio gives ya for not a lot of money. the duro marlin is my favorite casio that I own.

Those are pretty slick. I have both models, with 2 straps and the one with a bracelet, and they seem to only gain about 10 seconds a year!

Looks like they're coming out with a "smaller" 43mm one in a few colors in a couple days, there's a few more for you to get. I know a lot of people don't like dates, but I got this one specifically because it had the date window.

While I was digging around in my safe tonight, I decided to play with a few of my other watches and see what I might want to wear next.

Some of there are quite loose because I was more than 50lbs heavier the last time that I wore them…

Heard back from Atelier the other day. My Omega Seamaster is getting a complete rebuild, new crown & bezel, and resealing. In the meantime, I guess I'll just wear this old thing today...

How do you like that Casio I have been eyeing that model ?
love it. one of the best wr dive type watches for the money out there. 200m wr. so fine for open water shallow recreational type diving and snorkeling, swimming etc. mineral glass hasnt scratched yet..and held up fine. aluminum bezel has held up. 120 click bezel for half second accurate timing..but weirdly I prefer 60 click ones. quartz movement has gained maybe 15 seconds since set it on the time change, so pretty darn accurate. few spots around the dial where second hand doesn't hit the dial marks perfectly, but minor nitpick on cosmetics there.

think ya can grab one for around 46 bucks in the black dial still. low 50s for the other color versions.

My Islander again. Those Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Zodiac and other high end world class watches are great but there is a place for the nice affordable watch too.

Since this is Bladeforums I included photos with some knives.

Holy Cow Batman!

My DSSD and my Luminox Auto are both gaining about ONE SECOND PER WEEK for the past 4 weeks; but your watch is unbelievable down to the second! My Grand Seiko HAQ and Omega X-33 both only gain 1/2 second a month, and somehow your mechanical is matching or besting those.
