Let's have a lume shot? I suck at those, so hoping you can get one in focus.
PS: That is the 8802, and I still have an 8882 of which can't really tell the difference, other than the 8882 is a newer model and the Tritium gas tubes are a different color. I'll try to get pics soon.
Lumen shots, for those that you can see the dial more, I used a very very small flashlight and wrapped the end with tissue paper to soften the light even further and as the exposure was in process I painted the dial with that small light.Let's have a lume shot? A reminder shot of how the watch looks in normal room lighting.

a little less lighting around it

and a complete dark shot with just the lumen and that will show all night without dimming at all, so this really works well in a completely dark room.

The small ratchet lines are from the second hand sweeping around during the longish exposure that was needed to capture those images.
So, there ya go Doc !

Thanks, and if you do try using the iphone tripod, you will probably want to set it in manual exposure mode and if you can lock focus and THEN turn off the lights, you might get it in focus and of course, use a timer on the shot so you don't make it shake when you take the photo.
Leica's are pretty nice cameras, I'd suggest digging that out first and getting back to using a real camera, even though phones have put such a dent in people using 'cameras' any more. That was with my Canon 5 mkii and my macro lens, killer lens too!
